Co-director for the last 10 years, he led the expansion from one academy to over 6 academies in Detroit, MI; Canton, MI; Muskegon, MI; Peoria, IL and Atlanta, GA. His efforts have exposed thousands of students to aviation and aerospace career pathways across the United States.
The purpose of the Aviation Career Education (ACE) Program is to offer first-level exposure to the aviation and aerospace industries by providing aviation career exploration to high school students. Academy participants learn about aviation history, theory of flight, and other aviation-related subjects. Students go on field trips to aviation facilities and participate in hands-on activities designed to give students a total aviation experience. These ACE programs focus on exposing underserved, underrepresented, women and students of Color to careers in aerospace
